Does the Natural Food School subscribe to any one particular approach?
Our underlying belief is that food can be a powerful but gentle healer as well as being nourishing and delicious everyday. At the Natural Food School we combine many ideas from the many popular approaches, including raw food, food combining and detoxing. It is our belief that each approach has something to offer as we explore natural food both for its healing and nourishing properties, and no one approach will suit everyone. I am a vegetarian would your courses be suitable for me?
The vast majority of our cooking courses are about cooking delicious vegetarian and vegan food. Many days will also be gluten and dairy-free. Please ask us before you book a course if this is important to you.
I find cooking quite a trial and I only have some basic skills. How complicated are your recipes going to be?
All our recipes are aimed at producing simple, nutritious and delicious meals. We will be cooking using some less common ingredients as well as those you may be more familiar with. The small group atmosphere means you will be supported at whatever level you are at. See Free recipes
I know quite a lot about nutrition from my own reading. Do you think your nutrition days will give me anymore information?
There is so much information about nutrition and healthy eating available these days we are sure that not all the information shared will be new. However, what we do offer is a unique chance to consolidate all the available information, sift through the myths, misconceptions and popular beliefs we have about food, and consider how we can make our own diet more healthful and nourishing on a daily basis.
